Standard Offence Wording
On **(..SPECIFY DATE..) at **(..SPECIFY TOWNSHIP..), being the person in charge of a motor vehicle, namely **(..SPECIFY VEHICLE MAKE AND INDEX NUMBER..), drawing a trailer caused that trailer to stand on a road, namely **(..SPECIFY ROAD AND LOCATION..), when detached from the drawing vehicle and failed to ensure that

(A)_[at least one of the wheels of that trailer]_
(B)_[the tracks of a track laying trailer]_

were prevented from revolving by the setting of a parking brake, the use of a chain, chock or other efficient device, namely **(..SPECIFY THE DEVICE EMPLOYED..)

Legislation
Contrary to regulation 89 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
